Freeview channel change day 2017

I don't think the retune messes up anything on the Panasonic boxes, not even recording schedule, but I like to use the TVs by preference to economise on power usage, plus the TVs have all the online functions I want. Except one TV in the bedroom that we use as an alarm, coming on at 6am with Today. Being as we also use it for The Papers on BBC News at 10.45pm, I need a channel my wife can find easily. Maybe 7?
 
Returned the Panasonic boxes today, and all deleted channels were respected, favourites retained, schedule retained, renumbered channels retained. If only it were so easy elsewhere.
 
Easy. If they are recording 2 channels, you can't tune any others to watch, though you can watch any recording. The gui isn't as slick as others, far too many options in the menus and inconsistencies, eg, schedule and recordings are miles apart.

All in all, not a bad box.
