Future freeview change?

...Freeview television users shouldn't suffer too much as a result of the spectrum shuffle. Most viewers will simply need to retune their equipment to continue receiving television broadcasts in the adjacent 600MHz band, although some (Ofcom estimates around 0.5% of the population) may need a new roof-top aerial. Ofcom says this won't be necessary before 2019.

...Ofcom admits that some equipment, such as wireless microphone set-ups in sports stadiums, theatres and other public venues, could be rendered obselete by the spectrum switch-over. However, it's for government to decide how, or even if, these venues will be compensated.
