Has the Aura EZ been scrapped or is it just too crap to mention ?

I was just reading this Cordbusters article about new channels just added to Freely where they mentioned the only way you could get Freely before was by buying a Freely TV then .......
" That changed in November 2025, when the first standalone box arrived. There are now two leading devices":
............ They then give a breakdown and price of the Netgem Pleio and the Manhattan Aero. Nowhere in the article is the Aura EZ mentioned at all.

As far as I can tell the EZ is in a state of flux! Argos only sells the original Aura online as a clearance item - but out of stock, no EZ. Currys claims to sell EZ. Richer Sounds claims to sell EZ. Humax website show EZ and if you want to buy it sends you to humaxdirect. If you click on buy you get a 404 error. Looks like there may be no new Humax PVRs soon.

I thought I was just being facetious when I suggested it had been scrapped but after reading your post it seems more like a possible premonition. It goes some way to explain why nobody has mentioned the EZ let alone admitted to owning one here for a long time. A new Humax product usually creates a much bigger buzz here for a much longer time followed by a constant trickle of posts seeking advice or pointing out flaws rather than this deafening silence.

This could be a sign Humax are going bust. If their only new broadcast product has vanished and the endlessly delayed Aura firmware update are a sign, things are bad at Humax towers.
