Has there been a Change to Webif Detect Ads?

webif 1.5.3-5 is in the beta repository for anyone who cares to test.

Good, installed today (after installing opkg-beta). Changed Settings|Advanced Settings|Regenerate .nts files after crop? YES->NO
Cropping back to "normal" but out of curiosity I regenerated the htm file post crop not expecting a change, but it did, having the effect of incorrectly increasing the end time back to about when it had adverts in it!
I've never seen this before, only the other way round where it continues playing at end of playback bar.
Anyway, had to adjust the cropping points a bit and re-ran the crop OK.

Noticed an increase in the estimated time but got distracted timing it. So another time on this.

I ran some tests today with a number of recordings - all SD. I ran each recording with the nts regeneration option set to On and Off in turn. The results were as expected. Without nts regeneration the Played Time fields in the nts records were apparently arbitrary. With nts regeneration they were, as expected, monotonically increasing. Again as expected, trick-play behaved unpredictability in the former case, and correctly in the latter. I noted that, fairly consistently, crop with regeneration took approximately three times longer than crop without regeneration. I don't mind paying the price, but I can see why SunnysideUK might find it frustrating.

I will install the Beta package on my 'production machine' tomorrow, and report back if I encounter any difficulties.
