HDR-1800T record/playback problems.

Question - my machine ia an 1800-T but the circuit board says 2000-T, whats the diference?

I think they share the same circuit board and the differences are small. The 1800-T has one USB port, the HDR-2000T has two USB ports. The remote controls are different. The 1800-T uses a 2.5" hard drive, the 2000T uses a 3.5" hard drive. The cases are different colours. In summary they are very similar.

If I remember correctly they both run exactly the same firmware.

I guess it would be nice if people who owned these things posted decent quality, high resolution pictures of the innards (and maybe the out-ards).
