HDR Fox can't play own SD files

My 500GB HDR (1.02.20) recorded several SD programmes yesterday. If you navigate to them and press 'OK', the screen blanks for a few seconds and then returns to the media page. If I go to a PC on the network and run XBMC, I can stream the files to the PC screen. Anyone seen this before? Anyone know a cure so that I can play them on the TV?

We see this problem a couple of times a year. In our case the fix is to put the HDR into standby and then turn off the mains power for 10 seconds.

Cheers Martin, I guessed a power cycle might help. It failed to do so last night, but I will try again later (SWMBO is using it at the moment).
