How do I get to the web interface

I have installed the customised firmware on to the Humax box and downloaded the web interface from my web browser by connecting to the Humax web page, as per the instructions given.

So now it is all installed, and I have followed the instructions, where or how to I access the new web interface:

Please restart your Humax device using the
remote control to put it into standby, wait for it to fully shut down
and then start it up again.

I have done this, but things don't look any different on the TV Portal page.

It's nothing to do with the TV Portal. The web interface is what you get by connecting through your PC web browser to the Humax IP address.

You didn't read the QUICK START GUIDE (click) I pointed you to, did you!

Yes I did have a quick read, but I have just re read it and it is a bit clearer now.

So the package links which are showing in the web interface, I select the ones I want and they are installed onto the Humax box?

Yup. But Samba requires some config (see Wiki).

I'd ignore samba and just get the webif working first to make it easier if possible.
