How do I prevent 'failed recording has been detected' emails when...

Hi
How do I prevent 'failed recording has been detected' emails being sent when there is no red box warning to cancel it?

I had a two program clash which I cleared in the 'Visual Schedule' page. The remaining programs recorded as expected. I didn't receive the usual 'red box' acknowledgment warning. However, Hummy still noted it as a clash & is issuing daily emails.

How can I reset this problem?

I don't understand why RS would still be issuing clash messages after the scheduled tiime for the recordings. are they series episodes that are now conflicting on next weeks episodes?

Failed recording is a different error and email from a recording clash, It is a generated when a solo .hmt file is detected - usually for a failure to track recording error. There is an option on the RS home page to delete such stray recordings.

When did RS last see your Humax, (shown at top of RS display)
On your Humax Diag page you can force a resync of RS data with diag rs/sync.

I receive 'failed recording has been detected' emails daily until I cancel them via the warning signs which appear on the RS website. They are always for previous programs.

This is the email I received today:
Device: HDR-Fox T2 (humax - 00:03:78:b8:df:0c)
At least one failed recording has been detected in your
media library. The following recording(s) failed:

/Midsomer Murders/Midsomer Murders_20250614_1700
/Midsomer Murders/Midsomer Murders_20250614_1900

There is an option on the RS home page to delete such stray recordings.
If you mean this warning, then that's what I've not been receiving, up until today (I got the colour wrong, I thought it was red.)

When did RS last see your Humax,
"Last seen:" was today.
On your Humax Diag page you can force a resync of RS data with diag rs/sync.
I'm unable to see a diag option titled "rs/sync" Either an icon or from the drop down menu

'general' diagnostic is the default. Overwrite "General" with "rs/sync". To do this position the cursor in the box where general is and then update the text using your keyboard.

It should then temporally look like this:

then click on the Run Diagnostic button.

If you browse the Midsomer Murders folder via the Humax on your TV, or via the web interface (not the RS interface) are those 2 instancies of the programme still listed?

That's because there are orphaned .htm files still present. They should be listed in the WebIF file browser, or on the command line directory listiings.
Yep, that is why I asked the question
