Humax hdr 1010s media share problem

Hi, media share on the box just shows blank, cannot see my windows 7 pc, pc media sharing is turned on on pc. Any help appreciated as I bought the box thinking I could stream videos from pc to box, am I wrong.Windows media player installed on pc and again streaming turned on, I give in!

The HD/HDR-FOX can take significant time to find a DLNA service. The 1010 may be similar.

So should I just leave on media share and see what happens, how long?

How long is a piece of string? Can you use something else to check you really have setup a DLNA server?
