Humax HDR-Fox T2 Disk Error - Help please..

monitor.db is used by the sysmon package,
if you haven't rebooted your system since renaming it could still be trying to use the old copy - with linux file systems moving/renaming/deleting a file doesn't break an existing open link to a file.
You can delete a recording while you are still watching it!

Thanks very much. I have rebooted a few times since renaming that file, plus I've run a long fixdisk and then reinstalled the webif, so I guess that should have overcome the duff bit of disk.
 
Well I did and it says PASSED, with zero in 197, 198 but various unfathomable values like 7=5202137.
The actions gave me some confidence though too.
