Yeah, I think it's best to draw a line under this now. Putting words into mouths is never a good thing. I've always felt it's a bit like walking on egg shells when asking for help in this forum. As for the resources, I assumed it was like trying to run Windows 11 on an old PC, whilst it's possible, it will take a bit of work to get it to function satisfactorily.

Given that the latest update to Windows 11 can muck up new PCs (apparently can boot to BitLocker recovery on some PCs) trying to get it working on an old PC is for masochists!
(Fortunately something has gone wrong with my updates and the last few monthly updates have failed. Additionally I've turned BitLocker off.Bloody Windows!)

Mine says it cannot update past 21H2 as it is not capable and the only updates I get now are for Defender. I looked into forcing it to update a couple of versions ago and it was far from simple and looked too risky with the possible side effects.
