Humax: Reboot Loop | Keeps Rebooting

Hello.
One of my Humax HDR-Fox units is rebooting at boot-up process presumably around webif load.
It's set NOT to disable packages on crash.
I've managed to run a fixdisk (it was found in half-standby after a power cycle during boot). I didn't notice any red flags post fix.
It seems to be recording from standby OK.
Disk space is getting low.

I've has a search but I'm not getting relevant results so could someone inform me or point me to the resolution steps please.
 
If it is recording from standby I think that means this is not newcoppiceman's diagnosis of a capacitor on the main board failing. Also if it was that it wouldn't be possible to run fixdisk.
 
The unit Wizard the other day but fault remains.
The unit appears to restart at the point the HDD spins up. I tried removing its power and the Humax does not reboot.
I tried again with disk power disconnected, waited a 2-3 seconds after point of restart and reconnected power. HDD spun up and boot was successful.

The PSU looks clean and caps flat.
I'll try and meter the PSU when I get time. Maybe swap it out with another.

Can the fault be the 4.7µF capacitor referred to?
Any other ideas welcome.

If your symptoms do not exactly match those described for the capacitor problem, probably not (but never say never). You could see what happens with another HDD (if you have one to hand). Only try changing the cap when you have nothing to lose.
