Hi
Have just made up the pig-y-back ribbon cable using the components recommended.
The hummy works ok when connected to aerial and tv etc so I assume the cable is OK.
When connected to the laptop (hummy in standby with no aerial connected) the message:-
"unknown partition table"
is displayed in response to the command:-
humaxrw 0: -l
Laptop running XP Pro SP 3
Have read the readme.txt downloaded with humaxrw but have not spotted anything relating to this message.
Can anyone help, please?

Thanks
John

I would expect that 0: is the laptop internal drive. What happens if you try

humaxrw 1: -l

?

Hi Martin
Tried humaxrw 1: -l and humax 2: -l
both returned:-
\\.\PhysicalDrive(X): no such file or directory (X) = 1 or 2 as appropriate.
I did not try beyond 2.
