I know it's been mentioned on here before but people keep asking me. If you get subtitles after pausing or rewind just press exit. You may have to press exit twice the first time, but after that it should just be the once.

If you turn on subtitles on the affected channels and then off again it should fix the problem permanently apart from channels moved by customise channels.
