Ignore Forums/Threads (not an issue as such)

I always use New Posts as a start when looking at the forum and there are some threads that I do not want to follow or see in New Posts.
I see there is an add-on (https://xenforo.com/community/resources/tl-ignore-content.6538/) - would it be possible to implement this if enough members thought it worthwhile ?

I find using the Unread and Watched filters adequate for controlling my viewing but have no objection to additional controls being made available
