install netstat and iftop

I would like to install netstat and iftop but I get the following
humax# opkg install netstat
* opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package netstat.
I can see that netstat isnt included in the current repository so how can I install a repository which includes netstat and iftop? thanks

ok I could do that but is there a repo which I could add so I can use opkg install foo?

if I try to download iftop with wget it says (Read-only file system).

actually I got netstat installed from net-tools but iftop I cannot find, perhaps there is a similar network monitor in the current repo? or better still how do I add a new repo? or even download with the read only? thanks

No, because the stuff needs to be specially compiled for the Humax. The hummypkg repo contains what we (the royal "we") have compiled for it.

If you are trying to copy to the flash, that is read only. You need to target the hard drive. You also need to keep in mind the limited computing power available, and limited RAM.

No. There is only the hpkg.tv repository.

Change to a writeable directory then.

Iftop seems to need libpcap which isn't available either.
