Is STV HD high resolution like ITV1 Granada?

Just moved STV HD from non freesat to freesat. Is this the better quality picture like ITV1 HD Granada or is it the poorer London ITV1 HD signal?

They are all now the same on both Freeview and satellite (1920 x 1080). There's no 1440 x 1080 left from any free broadcaster.

Oh great thanks for that. Do STV show many different programmes to ITV1, and when did ITV1 London improve the quality.
