The much maligned Talk/Talk came up trumps this weekend. Having had few issues over the past eight years, the router gave up the ghost on Thurs 23rd and wouldn't authenticate losing internet connection. I rang the helpline, they checked the line and asked me to run a few tests and confirmed the failed router. Passed me on to customer services and they sent me a new one foc ( the latest Huawei HG533.) Rec'd 28th, as quick as one could expect given the Bank holiday weekend. I attempted to ring customer care to thank them but gave up on their stupid phone system!
