Limit on copy (to USB)?

I've been successfully copying from HDR-FOX T2 to USB (EXT2) and then on to my laptop (many thanks for the advice earlier in the year).

However, I have a recording of size 19,174,125,568 (232 mins) but the copy to USB always stops at size 17,247,252,480.

Any ideas why, and any ideas on how to get round this?

Maximum file size of an EXT2 (or 3) formatted drive with a 1Kb block size is 16Gb. Reformat it with a higher block size.

If the Custom Firmware was installed it would be possible to decrypt the recording while it was on HDR hard disk and then FTP the file from there to a laptop without having to use the USB (EXT2) drive

Many thanks DragonC and Ezra - problem solved (via block size change) and I now have my 232 mins HD backed up (and can do others in future if I need to).
