BH - strength is 75%, quality is 100%

Seems fine to me.

Luke - I don't understand, I've only got the one aerial.

How are you splitting it to feed two sockets?

Maybe channel 33 is hitting some kind of resonance in the aerial cabling and getting selectively attenuated? It seems unlikely, but strange things happen with RF.

What strengths are reported for the set of channels upstairs and downstairs respectively?

Especially if liberties are taken with the splitting, hence my previous question.

sorry guys, back to work today - i'll try swapping the boxes tonight if i'm not too knackered

I also had a problem with BBC4 HD the other evening (C33 - Crystal Palace).
When the box was turned on the channel was fine and signal showed 40% strength 100% quality.
After a minute or two the channel stopped working, showing "scrambled or not available" and 40% strength, 0% quality.

I can't check this evening as the Humax is in use.
