You are correct, Which is why the problem is not reported in greater numbers, Someone on another forum suggested nerds who contribute to forums are never away from their 'toys' long enough to take a 2 week holiday, It wasn't me ! !. So now it boils down to only being a problem to AR users if they have nothing at all schedulled except a forthnightly series recording, I think we can count them on one hand ! !. For the padding users it would be a problem every time the Humax was left un-attended for 7 days or more, much more likely
