Hi all .. first post here.
Just bought a TR-4 and have a LG OLED65C24LA.
The image for all channels when viewed using the Live TV option on the TV is PERFECT.
However, when I switch to HDMI1 (TR-4 connection), the quality is as follows:
BBC 1 HD - Fuzzy/Soft
BBC 2 HD - Fuzzy/Soft
ITV HD - Better
C4 HD - Good
C5 HD - Better
Any ideas on what I can do? Should I return the box?
Which one do I buy in exchange?
Options here in the UK are Humax Aura 4k.
Chris .. as you have had T4-R in use for over a year, care to give an update ?Hi. I have a C1 and the image is fine for me.
What I would suggest/double check.
Make sure the HDMI picture setting is the same as on Live TV (pref at least filmmaker mode for me).
Try setting the box to output at 1080i to get the TV to do the I/P conversion. Freeview HD channels at 99% 1080i.
Remember that no all HD stuff is super sharp. Varies from programme to programme.
Hopefully that may help.
Chris ..
