Media Server Question

When viewing the HDR-T2 Media Server from a client, I cannot see the media on the attached USB HDD, even though I can see it from FTP.

Is this expected behaviour on UPnP?

Yes. The DLNA mechanism used a media database separate from the OS file system, and does not index the external drive. This can be circumvented by the custom firmware.

Thank you for the tip - I searched the forums and found your mention of mvdisks. I had missed it with the filter applied to the packages.

I have added mvdisks - and will now wait for it to index. Yet again - many thanks!
