Micro sd to USB

I've got some videos on a micro sd card that I'd like to watch on the Humax HDR FOX T2.

I'd prefer to keep my videos on the micro sd card rather than on a USB memory stick. My plan is to buy a micro sd to USB reader, will the Humax box be able to read the micro sd to USB reader?

Is there anything particular I should look out for when buying my card reader?

There is no reason that the Humax shouldn't treat a Micro-SD card reader as if it was a USB Flash Memory Stick, I can't say all models will work, but this one certainly works O.K., the only problem is I don't have a name for it, as it came bundled with a Micro-SD card and only has the text you can see written on it

I have one with that on one face, but the other large face says 'KING of Flash'

I've just ordered one of these from ebay. Hopefully it'll do the job
