My Samsung Smart TV's can't 'see' recordings on HDR-2000T

You're right, I looked in the network stuff but apparently it is only for fetching digital text (whatever that is). I didn't buy it for "smart" capability, I have Humaxes for that!

Don't worry, I can't think of any scenario where I would switch on my Hummy just to use my TV to play back its files unless TV and Hummy were in different rooms say. Our TVs in different rooms are not smart. A blu-ray player in another room is meant to be smart but it's a Sony so it won't play the files anyway!

Android plays them fine.
