Mysterious comings and goings ...

I posted this issue to humax support:

"If you plug in an external usb drive and the box reboots all recordings fail and you can't access existing recordings - It's rebooting to the external drive

I was hoping this would cease to be an issue in the November update but the box is still rebooting on it's own and hence still fails

This is reported on forums and needs fixing"

and got a reply today:

Thank you for passing this on. We are aware of this issue and hope to resolve it in a future update in the new year. I do apologise for the inconvenience it has caused you thus far.

Did the update change the behaviour of the box in anyway?
