I would sugggest turning the power to the Humax off. Then try running Fixdisc again.I am a long time user of Humax and yesterday the Hard Disc crashed. I have now managed to run Fixdisk but it got stuck in a loop. I tried to exit with Ctrl+] but now I dont know what to do.
"As someone that was new to all this yesterday I didn't realise that I couldn't connect with PuTTY until the custom firmware had been installed. That seems logical to me now but as someone with no experience in all this I got very stuck yesterday. I searched on the connection refused error message but that was no help. It would be good if the instructions on how to connect with PuTTY had a note included that this is only possible after the custom firmware has been installed.
