No access to RS or Forum yesterday afternoon

As there seems to be no mention of it did anyone else lose access to RS or the Forum yesterday afternoon ? I was getting 502 Bad Gateway error.
Obviously all okay today.
 
I remember losing access to the forum yesterday. Eventually got an "Oops" message which appeared to come from this site.
Can't remember exactly when or for how long.
 
I lost access for a few hours, no error reported but perhaps I didn't wait long enough.
A check with "Downdetector" confirmed that the site was down but all seems well now.
 
Did notice RS was down but forum was up

More unfortunately for me is that RS hasn't seen my box since Friday evening 😥 and I am in Tunisia for a week :)

I thought I had set the timeswitch before leaving
Fortunately I can access BBC over VPN so Strictly isn't lost!
VPN hides me so well Channel 4 thinks I am using an ad blocker even when Adblock is turned off!
 
I noticed the forum and RS were down and reported it, which triggered remedy (some time later). I'm told there was a problem requiring a support ticket to the ISP, rather than it being a software issue.
 
As Black Hole mentioned, this all turned out to be network connectivity problems in the datacentre which were resolved late on Saturday evening. As far as I know it only affected IPv4 so some users will have been able to get in, at least occasionally. I think this is the first time I've ever had an outage there that wasn't due to scheduled maintenance so I hope this is a one off.

Strictly we watched live using NordVPN - hotel internet is not too bad 12.8Mbps - a bit of buffering occasiionally
It is everyting else on ITV/Four/Five that we will have to watch on catchup and put upd with the ads when we get home 😥

BBC iplayer works fine using NordVPN, ITVX and My5 refuses to play using VPN, Channel 4 claims we ware using an adblocker but sometimes worked (haven't managed to repeat the 1 success)

For those I found that adblock works a dream. The thing I watched on ITV yesterday threw a wobble complaining about my adblock. Dismissed the message, rereshed the page, carried on with adblock still on.
