No signal to TV when Humax on standby

Not sure whether I have a faulty T2 or not but when the Humax is on standby there is none or weak signal to the TV. I have directly connected the TV to the aerial and signal is perfect. Checked the aerial leads one by one and no problems so they are not the problem. Is it the Humax which has a problem with the by-pass? I have emailed Humax support but they didn't reply.

You need to make sure 'Power Saving on Standby' is switched off in the power management settings

If you have a reasonable signal you can save a bit of energy by fitting a splitter before the box to give it a discrete rf feed.
