No volume on playback

Apols - I did a search and couldn't find this. We have a Hummy problem that just appeared!

If we rewind live TV it plays back with no sound! I have read in other places that this can be an issue. One solution suggested was to format the hard disk. I did that but we still have the same problem.

Volume seems fine otherwise (watching TV or viewing recorded programmes).

Any thoughts, anyone?

Yep - twice! Still no vol on playback. Very annoying ;-(

If you connect the box by scart temporarily does the sound return. ? What version of software do you have on the Foxsat ?

For some reason this problem has gone away. Formatting the hard disk seemed to do it (although not immediately!). Bit confused - but happy it is now working properly.
