My screensaver clock was stuck on the same time as it hopped round the screen yesterday. The time was current when the screensaver activated, but then didn't update as it normally does. Restarting the Humax software without rebooting restored normal functionality.

my point was more to do with the time being used not switching in and out of daylight saving time which varies from country to country

As this thread has resurrected, I notice the GPS designs in the amateur mags now compute local time offset from GPS lat/long using a digitised map of time zone and national boundaries.
