Recording running programs always stops short

I've seen an issue 2 or 3 times over xmas (maybe not 'always' I'm not entirely sure) where pressing record
after a program has started cuts it off before the end. As far as I can tell the start /stop broadcast was
at the correct time on one of them I was able to check.

Do I have to keep changing the end time everytime I do this or is there an easier way. Padding doesnt seem
to come into effect when I do this.

The recording stops at the EPG time, regardless of what is actually happening. I presume you have end padding set, so it would seem the "instant record" function does not automatically add it.

To ameliorate this, I suggest also marking the next programme to record.

Trying pressing record a second time then manually pad the end time.

I have seen the same problem
Thanks for the tip on pressing the button twice.
I am surprised the Hummy does this considering how well other functions work
