Recording stuff twice

You can still watch any channel but cannot record them. Uses a maximum of 2 tuners. The third remains idle.

What a shame - so much potential - yet it is crippled from the off.

Doesn't Sky and Virgin have boxes with five or six tuners? Or rather, multiple tuners which allow up to six channels to be recorded and viewed at the same time?

That might be explained if the Aura (thought it) detected a glitch in the original recording, and automatically rescheduled.
For the cases I have seen it definitely doesn't reschedule.
I've never seen a reschedule due to a glitch.
The only reschedules I've seen are made at the time of trying to set a schedule - when there is a conflict. If there's a glitch I get a zero length recording or a shorter than expected recording or no recording listed (and the schedule vanishes). Mostly I end up with a corrupted recording.

Afterthought: I seem to recall cases where the Aura has rebooted during a scheduled recording and the recording resumes as a separate entry.

Both recordings were fine, no glitches!

Unlike many others I've never had the Aura reboot by itself in the 6 months ive been using it.

Yes I have seen that behaviour as well but not very often.
May have been a runaway recording that I tried to stop but couldn't. Then went for a reboot and it started again. Can't remember whether I could stop it at that point or had to unplug. I really must make a note of all these problems and solutions rather than rely on memory!
