Remote control Replacement

My wife reminded me that her family wrap their remotes in cling film

Now to test them out and fix which is which - anybody going to point me to the page ;) No need, I'm good.

both working fine :D

Just waiting for the Panny one.

Btw, I have a sound bar connect via optical. I used to have it connected via cable to one of the TV HDMI ports and it switched it on. However, now, using its own remote I have more options. But, its remote is tiny, no buttons, just raised areas for each control and turning on the bar means watch to see if its on or has gone on and then off!

I need to find something to replace it with 'proper' buttons. Any suggestions?

According to https://www.urcsupport.com/urc_product/ofa-evolve-4-urc7145/#urc-product-section--setup
the setup code for the HDR should be 2443 or 1981. But that will only be for whichever machine you have set up to use the default code '1'.

For the 2nd Humax, you may need to use the learning function to learn all the keys onto another device on the One For All.
The best bet is to try it out and see if it suits you and return it if it doesn't.
There are now new One For All codes for the HDR-1000S series which may have enough of the same buttons to also be useable with the HDR-FOX T2 without using the learning function very much or possibly not using the learning function at all.

As you will be controlling two PVRs the first thing required is to change the DVD mode on your URC to PVR mode.

1. Hold down the SETUP key, the light will blink twice..
2. Enter the code 992,the light will blink twice.
3. Press once the Source dev key (PVR)
4. Press once the Destination device key (DVD) the light will blink twice.
5. You can now program a PVR code on DVD.

Here are the codes for the different modes for Humax Model: HDR1100S
• PVR 2443 (mode 1 default mode)
• PVR 2967 (mode 2)
• PVR 2968 (mode 3)
• PVR 2969 (mode 4)
• PVR 2970 (mode 5)
• PVR 2961 (mode 6)

Before you can configure the codes on your URC the codes from Mode 2 through to Mode 6 need to be downloaded into your URC from the link provided below :
Simpleset.com

Full details for downloading etc are provided on the link, you will need your One For All Remote and it's USB cable.

I understand that these codes only work with URC6430, URC6440, URC7990 and URC7991 Remotes.
