Remote Scheduler Website Not Sending Emails

Hi All. I hope this is the right place to put this and someone can help. It would appear (at least for me) that emails from the Remote Scheduling website are not working. I deleted my account over the weekend as I had been having some issues with scheduling and have re-setup my Humax and re-installed the RS package. When I logged into my Humax, I filled in my email for registering on the RS portal. It tells me that it created an account and sent the password via email but it was never received - nothing in spam / junk folders. I also tried the "Forgot Password" option, but again, no email received. The email address I registered with was an @outlook.com email address. I though Outlook / Microsoft might have been having problems (although other email was getting through), I so re-registered using another email account and the same thing happened - no email received.

Hopefully, whoever manages the RS website will see this and have a look.

Thanks,

Evening. I was hoping there might be an update from the owner of rs.hpkg.tv. As I mentioned earlier, I can register for an account by going to the RS package settings on the Humax custom firmware and it registers an account but never emails me the password. 🙁

I have also tried the password reset option on the website several times and again, it says it has sent an email but nothing ever arrives (nothing in spam / junk folders).

What is strange, is that I did get an email yesterday from the RS portal to tell me that one of the programs I had scheduled (via the guide on Humax) failed to record (we had a power cut during the recording) so some emails are being sent / received.

I really like the RS portal and functionality and would like to get my account back up and running.

If I try to register / update email address from the RS package on the Humax, it reports this:

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Using e-mail address: <removed>@outlook.com
Registering with remote scheduling server.
>> Found existing account, <removed>@outlook.com
Sending channel information to remote server.
Already up-to-date.

>> Uncompressing received data...
>> Done, restored 10942886 bytes.

@soreilly @MofTot, who developed the package, last posted 31 May 2023 and in previous thread he said he isn’t living in the UK now, so I don’t think the RS package is supported any longer.

You should be able to do a password reset on there. If that doesn't work for some reason send me a message on here with your email address and I'll look into it for you.

Hi everyone, I hope it's alright to post here but I have a similar issue to that of the OP and thought this might be the best place to describe the problem I'm having and seek some advice / help.

I have a Foxsat-HDR with recently installed Custom Firmware (v 4.1.3) and, more recently still, the Remote Scheduling plug-in (rs v 1.4.5-16). Having registered my device via the plug-in settings I have never received an email with my initial password so can't access my account on the Remote Scheduling website. I have tried requesting a password reset via the website but still don't receive any emails. Via my device's web interface the plug-in settings show my Registration Status as 'Active', I can use the Push Channels function with what appears to be a success message and I'm even email receiving emails, about failed recordings, sent to my registered address, from Hummypkg Remote Scheduling.

I might be doing something wrong but I certainly need some advice and maybe someone to assist me so here I am, asking for help.

Thanks.
