OP I ian_j Member Oct 29, 2014 #5 I have been tempted by the RP in the past but feel it's now a bit underpowered compared to other SOC mini PC's. If I was to get a mini PC type device (something that can do more than just play media) I was looking at the Minix Neo X8-H or the Probox2 EX. Both of the above are more expensive than the RP but are more powerful so hopefully would be future proof for the next few years when H265 takes off.
