It's slower but building it up via the web interface is a good way to see how things are represented internally.

That's correct. I misread what you wrote .

I had tried that, along with copying it into a text editor to try to experiment with structures I couldn't see easily in the web interface, but wasn't aware of how I could/should use 'and'. Despite seeing it in the 'notes'!

It was the problems with setting this search that made me wonder if a repository for others to copy from might be worthwhile.
