Sagemcom BT/EE TV Box Pro

Just had a search for the BT version of the manual and also for the help/remote they list and can't seem to find either so I hope my LG responds to one of the three listed on that sheet!

Is that a BT branded version of DTR-T1000 guide?
You need the BT version, not the retail version, although my understanding is that some BT subscribers did get the non-BT remote which had concave sides, I don't know which version of the guide they were given.
Here is the relevent section from a BT version which also includes a diagram of the chunky remote.

Update:
Did that this morning and the very first LG code worked a treat, the power of the internet, forums and people that have the info!

One happy bunny thanks - well, it is Easter.

Click: YouView_from_BT_user_guide_(H3 v8) for a BT DTR-T1000 user guide that includes the chunky remote (but not the full code list).
Once again, many thanks for that info. I have printed out the relevant page regarding the remote for future use. As I noted previously, the first LG code on your other extracted page did the trick for my TV.

Might come unstuck if I change my telly - which I was thinking I might do in the near future - when I might have to search for the code list. Won't worry about that now though.

The remote is reasonably pleasant to use, although a bit "chunky" - the EE remote does have nicer button action and works non line of sight - but to actually have 100% positive skip forward and back is very welcome.

I have just received my EE TV Box Pro and after setting up cannot find an option to do the following..
Record part of a program by time only on a certain channel such as 11am until 1pm on a Wednesday every week like you can with the Aura?
I can do a series link to record every day but don't want that, just one day of the daily series.

As far as I am aware there is no option to add manual timers, just from the guide. It’s not something I have ever wanted to do.

As @Steppy noted - there is no capability to add manual timers - you have to set a recording from the guide.

In your example I would just choose series record and when I have watched the Wednesday program just back out and press the red/record button to delete the series and it will be ready to record the next sequence - note deleting the series from your recordings list does NOT cancel the series record in the schedule.

Not so versatile as the Aura etc. but maybe that is why it is generally reliable?

Agreed, but as the BT/EE box is powered by YouView you have to accept the lesser versatility of recording options if you are purchasing one.
I was refuting any claim that simplicity and not allowing manual timers is what makes it reliable.

I didn’t state that not setting manual timers is what makes it reliable, but that it is simple and reliable.

I found YouView to be too simple to be satisfactory for my use, or even my parents. All recordings in one huge list is unacceptable, myself and my parents need them in folders per series.

I used to like all the personalisation of the HDR with custom firmware when I had one, but the simplicity of the EE box is refreshing.

When there are multiple recordings they are stacked together into a kind of virtual folder like the Aura does, but in thumbnail view and that works well. Obviously there is no ability to create your own folders which will be no good for you.

I don't personalise my HDR Fox T2 much. The main thing is running Fan at 50% for thermal stability. The other huge benefit is when it throws a disc error due to a bad block (which it does every couple of years) I can fix it with custom firmware. I'm not aware of any other PVR with that capability. What do you do? Replace the hard disc every time there is a bad block?

YouView didn't even have that when I was using it as part of the original trial.
