Sagemcom BT/EE TV Box Pro

Got my box, must admit I'm very pleased with it, seems to work very well up to now
One quick question I have though, is there any way to get the box to start on the last channel it was on? Mine starts on channel 1 every time it's been off for a bit?
I did put the hdmi power saver nice to always ready, assuming this would sort that, but it still starts on channel 1.
Thanks

We always leave ours on 103 ITV HD and it always remains on that channel when it starts up.

Did you do the initial set up using an aerial or are you using the internet for your channels? I am using the aerial. 1 would be standard def using the aerial.

Another thing I do is set deep standby for the hours I am not generally using it for viewing, otherwise the HDD always runs in normal standby mode… not sure why, but that how it does it by design.

I have mine to wake at 6 am and go to deep sleep/standby at 1pm. You can have it on deep standby all the time, but then you have the longer startup when you want to watch something.

Glad you are otherwise pleased :)

I might switch from always ready to smart mode in the power saver mode, which sounds like what you are using and see how that goes.

Cheers for the help and for letting me know about this box, apart from that small detail it's great isn't it 😊

You’re welcome, I didn’t know about it either until some on this forum mentioned it to me.

I thought at less than £100 is was worth a try and I couldn’t be happier with it

I meant to add, unless you have setup the device in aerial mode you will not be able to record four channels like the Aura.

I think internet mode only allows recording of two channels. Check the startup guide for more information.

Yes the App is very good and unlike the Aura one you can delete timers from the App.

Unless you have the device in normal standby or it’s running you cannot set things remotely, that is one Down of using deep sleep. It will try for a time, but if it can’t communicate it will timeout and you will get a notification. I will rarely need to use it, but I may adjust the deep sleep whilst I’m away, just in case I want to set something. The times I have used it the box has already been recording so was able to accept the timer.
