Should I be looking for a new drive?

My dads T2, bought new and with original HDD still, has done this twice now.
First time 2 months ago. A fix-disk run made it go away. But it’s emailed me again this morning with some sector error.
Will run fix-disk once I can login. But should I be making arrangements for a new drive?

Any advice welcome.

No, just run the fix-disk procedure again. It seems like you've just had a couple of marginal sectors.
 
I am still using my original hard disk that has suffered a few bad sectors over the years and it has outlived the original Humax.
Only start to worry if the number of bad sectors increases rapidly

I wouldn’t be able to visit my parents till Christmas and they NEED their 3 HDR Fox-T2’s.
They’re not addicted.
They could give up any time.
They just don’t want to.
