Sky kindly gave me a free wireless connector to plug into the ethernet socket of my Sky+HD box shortly before I ended my subscription.
This post is to report that it works perfectly with my Foxsat HDR giving it a new lease of life.
Furthermore this connector has been hacked - http://chrisnharvey.com/blog/2013/06/hacking-the-sky-wireless-connector although I did not need this. It just worked. The link does show the unit I have.
I note that the connector currently being sold by Sky looks slightly different, spot the difference here http://sky.com/shop/tv/on-demand-connector/ and I emphasise that this is NOT the one I have.
