Sniffing the OTA firmware updates for the HDR-1000S

Anybody else been upgraded to :-
New software version 2.02.01 on air,
I really like the changes but since the upgrade my systems hard drive powers up and down every 10-20 mins or so. It's gonna break at that rate? Any idea's what could be going on?......

It could well be, I did add an ID and download the remote APP for my LG smart phone?.....
That is the cause of the behaviour not the upgrade.

I am struggling to see any difference after the update. When in playback, it would be handy to be able to type in the time you wish to move to. (Say on switching from live to recording because someone phoned.) My previous boxes had a simple mechanism: If I wanted to move to minute 23, I typed 23 and Enter.
