Some recordings not playable

Hi,

I'm experiencing issues with some recordings being unplayable> When I use the
remote control in Media folder I select a recording and play I get a message

"The channel is scrambled or not available"

after a slight delay.

Other new recordings are playing back fine.

System Information:

Web interface version: 1.4.6
Custom firmware version: 3.12 (build 3965)
Humax Version: 1.03.12 (kernel HDR_CFW_3.12)
Loader Version: a7.30
System ID: 80bc.7e00
Serial Number: 63 7104565 01042
Encryption Key: 000378bc0eed36333731303435363530
Last Boot Reason: Remote control handset

Using the web interface to look at the Media Info

Looking at the Sidecar files

Inspecting the Queue show that file has supposedly been decrypted & re-queuing a decryption produces a message that the
file has already been decrypted...

I'd be grateful if someone could point me in direction to fix the issue and hopefully decrypt the recorded files.

Many Thanks,

I've occasionally suffered the same problem. Sometimes, deleting the sidecar files then recreating them fixes it.

Hi,

I did the following :-

i) ran fixencflags command from the CLI in the webif - several diagnostic messages produced.

ii) Manually decrypted the files using the webif.

Recordings now play !

Most of these type of problems I get with BBC4 but have experienced them with ITV with less frequency.
That maybe because we don't tend to record channels other than BBC...

Many Thanks to everyone :)

Or perhaps it's that BBC4HD is transmitted on a lower power multiplex than most.
What was the old BBC4HD problem BH? I forgot.

I think there were more than 1, but this is the one that is similar:

Would the 'fixencflags' diagnostic be worth a shot?
