I set the new series of Police interceptors to record on ch5 tonight at 8pm, I started watching it 10 mins after it started and then when I skipped the ad break it started to play the beginning again even though the time elapsed was showing correctly, I stopped it and started it again and it repeated the same flaw so I gave up and set it again for the Ch5+1. Again I started to watch it just after it started and it displayed the same fault ******** Aura I then gave up and went to watch what remained live only to find it also showing the first part of the show for a second time. There was just another ad break and it is playing the same part for the third time now. For once it was not Aura's fault.

Edit .Out of curiosity I left it on live ch5+1 until after the next ad break and no prize for guessing that I am now seeing the same part for a fourth time.

C5 f***ed up last night too, at the end of the over-running snooker. They just can't get their head round live stuff at all. We won't even mention the state of the EPG at that point.

I saw exactly the same behaviour and also initially thought it was an Aura problem but then realised it was a channel 5 problem.

It wasn't the Aura, it was Channel 5. I turned on live part way through and saw a lead-in to a break (# on screen) but no break. Cut to break in the middle of another scene. I came back to it later and had deja vu - the same scene again without the cut. Then the programme ended abnormally. What a mess!

Really Phil?? I would have thought where I wrote "For once it was not Aura's fault." and also me saying I had continued to watch it live and saw the fault repeat for a fourth time not to mention the thread title being an apology to my Aura would have lead you to assume that I had already realised it was Ch5's fault. I will put this faux pas down to you posting at almost 3am. Get some more mate,
