Standby Issue

Hi,
My 9300T has suddenly gone into permanent standby. The fan is audible so I know it's got power, but in the display on the actual box all it says is PVR-9300T. Neither the remote or using the buttons on the actual box will persuade it into life. Anybody got any ideas how to get around this, before I invest in another pvr?
 
Presumably you have already tried removing and replacing the mains.
Failing that, it sounds a bit like it could be the old PSU blown capacitor problem.
 
Thanks for that, I just wanted to know it was broken, and not something I was doing wrong. As it has given me 4 years of service I'm off to buy the HDR 2000T.
