startup jobs and media list

I seem to have a problem where some of the items in init.d aren't running. I have my own dedup which is set up to run but hasn't since the weekend. Also, the icons next to the programs in the media list just show a grey square with a smaller film logo in it, rather than the first frame of the program.
Anyone else have anything similar? I have changed from AR to padding recently but guess that shouldn't affect things?

Edit: also noticed that the webif_auto log is empty, from Friday as well, about an hour after the last time the dedup ran.

I have figured out the problem.
There was a rogue second off-timer which was causing the unit to stay in half-awake mode, so the init.d start items weren't running. I deleted the rogue one and after the next on-off timer it was back to normal.

Yes, It has been reported before that On and Off timers will cause problems if they are not in pairs
