Stream ts files from HDR T2 via network

Is there a relatively simple way to play such files on VLC on android also being able to use things like skipping, ff, rw ?

Moving the cursor will tale you to a different time in the file but seems quite imprecise. The time length of the file says 0 on the player.

The HDR-FOX trick-plays native recordings with the aid of the .nts file to provide timing points and such like, but no other player will take notice of the sidecar information.

You might have a better experience by using network file sharing rather than streaming by DLNA, but that's a subject for the CF section of the forum.

User the samba or nfs-utils packages to create SMB1 or NFS (respectively) network attached storage. Then (assuming the recordings have been decrypted) the .ts can be played over the network as if it were a local file.

Yes, enable content sharing in Humax menus and the Humax will appear under Universal Plug n Play, then you play recording as fast or slow as you want and skip to begining and end of recording
To view HD recordings you need the customised firmware and the auto-unprotect package

I took it that is what the OP is doing at the moment, and content served by DLNA has limited trick-play.
