Strictly Sound Problem

Anybody else notice audio defects on BBC1HD about 40 minutes into Strictly?

Now 44 minutes in in chase play (HD). Sound breaking up.

Yes, but it was only for a few mins. Mainly when the judges were rabbiting.

We were watching chase play, my brother in a different part of the country, was watching live. He told me to expect a sound glitch, and sure enough, it happened where he said. Soon sorted itself out though

What I observed was distorted sound for about 5 mins. This doesn't correlate well with your "glitch" reports.

Well for "glitch", read "distorted" so to answer your question, yes.

That's what I got. It was bad enough for HWMBO to notice as well.

Strictly (on HD) has missed it's start mark!

...and the results show didn't record at all. Saturday might not have recorded if I hadn't hit the button. But another box recorded OK in StDef. Anybody else?

Both shows recorded OK for me on BBC ONE HD.

Oh dear... has my HDR1 gone "AR unreliable" again?!

I record SCD in SD on one HDR and SCD in HD on the other (don't ask!). Both recored without issue. Same with the results show.

I will say, however, that I ALWAYS get a warning that the HD program has failed to decrypt. I have never understood why. The warning is accurate as it never does get decrypted!

I set up a backup recording, and sure enough HDR4 recorded but HDR1 didn't. Factory reset time (when I can get around to it)!
