No, you have to obtain a command prompt using the "cli" menu option. "Please select option" means choose from the presented list of options.

LBA 0 faults generally means you're stuffed.

And before I go to the command line and type the command "smartctl -a /dev/sda", should I cancel the disk repair?

There's your answer. Stop the repair process and attempt to backup anything you want to try and preserve immediately. Do not attempt to write to it.
You need a new disk. This one might fail catastrophically at any time.

Having restarted the box, I've deleted any scheduled recordings and it seems I have no access to the HDD, so it looks like it's done the catastrophic fail already.
Quite sad, because I had lots recorded that I liked to revisit.

Depends what capacity you want and whether you want new or used.
You can get a 500GB New from Ebay for about £20. Used for less.
Amazon do New 1TB and 2TB for about £50 and £57 respectively.

Yes, it's easy as long as you can see, can operate a screwdriver, and are reasonably careful.
