The Aura Android update.

Perhaps they asked Johnny Mathis, Cliff Richard, Slim Whitman, Donny Osmond (or others) for the date.
That went over my head!
I can assure all the doubters that there is considerable activity going on. When Humax will choose to release the updates is a different matter.
Are you privy to some information that confirms "considerable activity [is] going on" ?
I guess we'll only know the update has been released when someone notices a change to their Aura. That won't be me as my Aura is usually disconnected from the internet.

Well, that is good to hear!

Still have some doubts though because they surely should have worked it out before now? Unless there are problems they still can't cure?

That went over my head as well??????

You ask how much I need you, must I explain?
I need you, oh, my firmware, like hardware needs a brain
You ask how long I'll use you, I'll tell you when it comes through
Until the 12th of never, I'll still be waiting for you.
And I even used "12th of never" in various places to indicate when I thought the update might happen.

:oops::oops:

Reading between the lines, that might suggest that the original solutions to the various problems didn't pass testing.

It's still being tested is all I'm going to say on this matter.
Not nearly as tested as the Aura owners who have waited a year and a half for it without even a single bit of hope of it having made any progress from Humax and just constantly renewed unverifiable claims of it still coming from third party optimists.

Oh, how wonderful. Just got an email from Humax - could this be an update for the Aura????

No, it is an invite to join their smart charging tariff program and claim £150 off one of their chargers - big deal!

I wonder what happens when their charger needs updated firmware - answerers on a postcard please to .........

The HDR Fox T2s I have are not doorstops.
Good for you - except that was not what we were talking about :o_O:

Anyway, the HDR T2 was way back when Humax used to make semi decent gear that generally almost performed as claimed. That went down the tubes with the Aura and new Aura with overhyped and over ambitious claims that they can't justify or, apparently, achieve!
